Creative Writing Sample A
I was walking around the calming woods when I found a very big rabbit hole. I jumped in. I made my way down and found the most beautiful site! I had found an enchanted part of the forest. Making my way down the path made of the most beautiful ruby-red path I saw a carved sign saying: “Nostalgic Village” and the in little writing at the bottom of the birch-wood sign said “Elves and fairies only”. I ignored it and found a peaceful little garden with every positive coloured flowers you could imagine. I swam in the little flower bed for a while and then realised that there were birds surrounding me. I figured that they would attack me but instead, they went to the lowest branches and started singing their beautiful, nostalgic songs. The later it got, the more beautiful the sky was. Once being bright, sky blue and pretty, now being the purest navy blue with twinkling dots all around. The trees swayed side-to-side and danced along with the breeze. It was like I was in one of those fairytales that a person could only dream of being in. I found my way to a nice, comfy branch in one of the trees and started to have a rest. I seemed to remember this place, like I’d been before. Of course I hadn’t, but it just had a lot of memories that I once knew. Like as if when I was a kid, care-free and full of joy. This place seems to describe my childhood. I rested and waited for dawn. When it came it was the most magical thing I had ever seen! A pink-ish blue that was like a pastel mix, it was wonderful. I made my way back down the ruby-red path, astonished and curious of why this place was like my childhood. I found another beautiful, hand-crafted sign, but this time it was made out of acacia. I found out from this sign the most wonderful thing. It said: “These enchanted, nostalgic forests will be made out of your most wonderful childhood memories”. |

Something that I have learnt in maths this week is the equality in fractions. Something else that I also learnt was how to put fractions in their most simplified form.
