I am a Year 7 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. This is one of my favourite posts! This is such a sweet and special story. Isn’t humongous such a funny looking word? That is so nice of you and your cousin for helping this poor dog. I’m just thinking about all the times I had a splinter in my foot. It is so uncomfortable and we have the ability to take them out. Dogs on the other hand don’t have fingers so they won’t be able to take any splinters out themselves. So I think you did this dog a huge favour, kai pai!

Well done. It is good to know you and your cousin helped the dog out as it would be unable to pull out a splinter itself. Poor dog. It was so lucky that you and your cousin were able to help it out!
Hopefully the dog didn't have the splinter for too long. It seemed like it trusted you and your cousin. Kai pai for helping that dog!
